Octatube, based in Delft, has 30 years of 'design & build' experience with complex architectural structures, contributing to a solid reputation at home and abroad.

Besides a high-class design, engineering and manufacturing company, Octatube also plays a role as a specialized contractor.

Octatube is unique in the Netherlands, carrying out projects in-house from design to completion.

All departments are situated in one building where collaboration between the departments is tight. This is essential in the delivery of innovative and dependable results.

From spaceframes and membrane structures in the 1980s, the emphasis has gradually been shifted towards advanced applications of glass and steel.

Besides the Fletcher Hotel, well known projects in the Netherlands range from renovation jobs (Prinsenhof),cardboard projects (like the Paperdome with Shigeru Ban) to innovative glass facades (Zigzag-façade, EMC Educational Centre).

Currently we are working on different projects, including the facades of the Markthal in Rotterdam (MVRDV), which shall become the largest cablenet facades in Europe.

Abroad, well known projects are the Rabin Centre in Israel and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, while new large projects are in the pipeline.
